PaprNote (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the website https://paprnote.com and the PaprNote web application (the “Service”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use PaprNote.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect:

- Authentication information
This information is required to create and maintain your account.
User Content
PaprNote allows users to create and store notes, drafts, and written content. This content is stored securely and is only accessible to the account owner.
Usage Data
We collect limited usage information to improve the Service. This may include:

Cookies and Analytics
PaprNote uses cookies and similar technologies to improve the experience of the Service. We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the platform. Cookies may collect anonymized usage statistics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and operate the PaprNote service
- Maintain and secure user accounts
- Improve product features and performance

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
Third-Party Services
PaprNote relies on trusted third-party infrastructure providers to operate the Service. These include:
- Supabase — Provides authentication, database storage, and backend infrastructure.
- Resend — Provides transactional email delivery such as account verification, password reset emails, and welcome emails.
- Google Analytics — Provides product analytics to help us understand how users interact with PaprNote.
- OpenAI — Powers LexiAI features. When you use AI features, your document content and prompts are sent to OpenAI for processing. We do not use your data to train AI models. See OpenAI's API data policy.
- Stripe — Handles payment processing for paid subscriptions. Payment information is collected and processed directly by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.
- Cloudflare — Provides security services including bot protection (Turnstile CAPTCHA) and CDN delivery.
These providers may process limited data necessary to perform their services.
Data Storage
User data is stored using secure infrastructure provided by Supabase. We take reasonable measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.
AI Data Processing
When you use LexiAI features, portions of your document content and your prompts are sent to OpenAI for processing. This data is used solely to generate a response and is not stored by PaprNote beyond the conversation session. OpenAI does not use API data to train their models. We track daily AI usage counts (not content) to enforce fair-use limits.
Image Storage
Images uploaded to PaprNote are stored in a secure cloud storage bucket provided by Supabase. Images are associated with your user account and are accessible via your documents. When you delete a document, associated images may be retained in storage until manually or automatically cleaned up.
Data Retention
We retain account information and user content for as long as an account remains active. Users may request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, personal information will be removed from our active systems where reasonably possible.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other privacy regulations, including:
- Access your personal information
- Request corrections
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Request a portable copy of your data (data portability)
- Opt out of non-essential data collection
- Withdraw consent at any time

Children's Privacy
PaprNote is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
